Exploring possible project ideas for the Makerspace project, I came across one very cool and straight forward idea that Thingiverse introduced me to. For my subject area, Spanish teaching, it would be perfect to have my students make Stand Up Maps of Countries in Latin America as a way to show a visual representation of the country. Students would be divided into groups and be assigned one country of their choice, make a trifold board for their station and have their Stand up 3D map on the table as well at our Latin American cultural fair.
